Slimming World Food Optimising

Slimming World have developed some easy steps guarenteed to acheive slimming success. Stressing flexibility is the key to success, the Slimming World programme makes your slimming quest part of your daily routine.

Slimmers World have devised diferent days (Green Days and Original Days) with different rules.

You just need to decide if you want to have a Green Day or an Original Day and stick to that choice all day. You are able to make every day a Green Day, or you can have a mixture of Green and Original Days. Simply pick your recipes according to which day you choose.

In following Slimmers World Food Optimising food falls in to three basic categories:

  • Free Foods - this is food that needs no weighing or measuring. On a Green Day you can have unlimited fruit, vegetables, rice, pasta and potatoes. On a Red Day you are able to have unlimited fruit, vegetables and meat on an Original Day. This diet allows you to fill up on the free foods whenever you feel hungry.
  • Healthy Extras - you can choose three items daily from this list. Includes a measured amount of foods which provide extra fibre, calcium, vitamins and minerals.
  • Sins - this list provides favourite extras and treats like chocolate, alcohol, cakes, sweets, snacks. This is the only food that is counted - most slimmers choose to have 5 to 15 Sins each day.
