Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an excellent method of reducting stress and improving flexibility. Tai Chi is of ancient Chinese descent and consists of graceful, controlled slow movements which stimulate inner health. This exercise is meditative and works on the premise that the bodies energy forces (chi) channels are cleared and circulated.

Tai Chi is like a slow moving meditative yoga. The participant conducts a set or form (sequence of slow, graceful movements), many of which are originated from traditional martial arts.

Tai Chi also encouages a calm and tranquil mind. On the precise execution of each movement the mind should remain focused and calm. The mind and body work as one, stimulating the body's energy flow. Tai Chi also helps improve balancing, alignment and understanding the body's rhythm.
