Synchronised Swimming

Synchronised Swimming is a great way to tone, burn calories (approximately 400 calories an hour), develop grace, strength and flexibilty. As it is in the water it is a low impact exercise so is great for cross training.

Traditionally Synchronised Swimming is performed in groups of two or more. A routine or moves are performed in group formation often to music. There are many Synchronised Swimming clubs throughout the UK. The local pool in you area should have details on who to contact to join. Alternatively look at www.britishswimming.org for further details.
