When work pressures are great and you have one hundred things to do what can be easier than convenience food and ready meals? Convenience food or ready meals appear the answer to our hectic life but can play havoc on your diet.
The key thing with convenience meals is to ensure that you read the label which will let you know the nutritional value, how much fat there is and the % of this that is saturated. As a rough guide if under 10g the meal is low in fat, between 10-20g medium and above this level the convenience meal is high in fat and will not help you in dieting!
It is also worth checking if the meal includes any vegetables or has an appropriate carbohydrate content remember to have a balanced diet or to lose weight you need to ensure you are getting the correct nutritional requirements from your food.
