A Bums and Tums class is a toning class that concentrates on the bottom and midsection. Often the classes include other areas of the body for toning - for example, legs, bums and tums. This type of class is excellent for toning muscles and increasing flexibility.
The session will often include a gentle warm-up followed by dynamic toning exercises, such as squats and lunges (in some classes weights may be used to increase intensity). This section will be followed by a complete abdominal work out.
Bums and Tums classes are popular classes on most gym or leisure centre class schedules.
