Kickboxing

Kickboxing can be done in a kickboxing class or as a contact sport. It is an excellent form of exercise to improve aerobic strenth, build and tone muscle and burn fat. Kickboxing involves a range of kicking and punching movements as drills or in routines. Intensity is increased through increasing the speed of the punches and kicks.

Kickboxing is a good way to improve flexibility and stamina.Good coordination is required although this will improve with training.

Kickboxing classes are available in most local areas. A local sports centre or gym should know the venue of a local Kickboxing class.
