Weight Training

Weight training is exercise which involves the use of weights. Usually weight training refers to those who lift weights to shape their figure, or to help in other sports, rather than those competing in bodybuilding, power lifting or weightlifting. Weight Training can be performed using free weights, by using a home multi gym or exercise equipment found in the gym. Weight training is a form of anaerobic exercise, and is used to strengthen and tone muscles. Weight Training can help you tone up, lose weight and gain weight through building muscle mass. Weight Training is excellent strength training and can help strengthen the body benefiting other exercise and sports.

Weight Training will enable you to shape your body. You can build muscle mass when you force a muscle to operate beyond its customary intensity. Through weight training you are able to do this by either increasing the resistance (the weight), increasing the number of repetitions (or the number of sets), or by reducing the recovery period.
