Step and Pump is a combination of a traditional step aerobics class with resistance exercises. Similar to Cardio-pump, following a warm up the session concentrates on alternating from an aerobic workout which raise the heart rate and resistance exercises which focus on muscle groups. Some classes may seperate the two sessions but this will depend on the instructor's style.
Step and Pump,like Cardio-pump, is a good workout for combining cardiovascular training and muscle toning which is not isolated to one area of the body.
